Reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has delivered endless challenges this season – but its biggest is undoubtedly yet to come.
Cyclone Dineo, a heavy storm that is threatening to deliver 120km/h winds and flash flooding to the South African jungle where 12 Aussie celebrities are currently filming, is believed to be seriously threatening the show’s production.
I’m A Celebrity‘s risk and safety adviser Paul Chivers told news.com.au that the entire team may indeed have to leave the South African jungle.
‘The intensity will drop off as Dineo heads inland and hopefully before it hits us,’ the website reports.
Co-host Dr Chris Brown took to Instagram to post a video of its trajectory towards the cast and crew’s location.
‘All jokes aside, there’s a very real chance our poor celebs could get washed away by Cyclone Dineo,’ Dr Chris captioned the post.
Already hitting Mozambique, Cyclone Dineo is likely to bring rain and winds over the coming days to various parts of South Africa.
