Brad Pitt has opened up about his dramatic split from Angelina Jolie, detailing how he had to accept his role in their divorce before moving forward in his career.
While on the promotional tour for his new movie Ad Astra, the Hollywood heavyweight revealed in an interview with NPR spoke about how his divorce from Academy award-winning Jolie impacted his performance in the new Sci-Fi drama.
“A breakup of a family is certainly an eye-opener that as one — and I’m speaking in general again — but as one needs to understand, I had to understand my own culpability in that, and what can I do better,” Brad said.
“Because I don’t want to go on like this.”

Brad Pitt has recently opened up about how his alcohol abuse played a part in the break down of is marriage, revealing: “I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I removed my drinking privilege.”
Chatting to the New York Times earlier this month, the Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood actor admitted to spending a year and a half in Alcoholics Anonymous after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce.
Speaking of his time in the twelve-step program, Brad explained of the experience: “You had all these men sitting around being open and honest in a way I have never heard.
“It was this safe space where there was little judgement, and therefore little judgement of yourself.”
Angelina Jolie, 44, filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, 55, in Septemeber 2016 following a dramatic incident on a private jet which alleged saw the Fight Club actor engage in an ugly altercation while intoxicated with son, Maddox.
