They dated for years, but called it quits in 2013. So why are Matty J and his ex Sara Bray spending a weekend away together?
Spotted getting cosy at Thredbo ski resort last weekend, Sara and Matty enjoyed skiing the slopes by day and sharing time out together watching band Client Liaison at night.
Sara, who is head of PR and events for clothing company General Pants Co., posted to Instagram about her weekend away, which was meant to be the ‘General Pants ski trip’.
Yet Matty, 30, who’s not an employee of the popular clothing chain, was also on the trip.
‘Matty doesn’t work for General Pants, so why was he with the group?’ an insider wonders.
‘It certainly looks strange and suggests perhaps there is more going on with him and Sara than he has led the public to believe.’
Spotted taking it easy in between skiing, Sara shared a picture of the group to social media – and she and Matty were seen conveniently sitting opposite each other.
But Sara’s fiance Alex Lloyd was nowhere to be seen, and didn’t appear to be attending the trip – leaving a telling comment on one of Sara’s Instagram snaps saying: ‘So jealous.’
‘It’s really strange that Matty would be on the ski trip when he doesn’t work for Sara’s company. If Matty is there – why wouldn’t Alex be there?’ an insider asks. ‘If I was him, I’d have a few questions.’
Now more than halfway through season five of The Bachelor, Matty and his chosen lady have had to keep their relationship under wraps.
‘Whoever Matty’s chosen to be his girlfriend or fiance on The Bachelor wouldn’t be too happy about seeing this either.
They spend little to no time together, and here he is gallivanting around the ski slopes with his ex. It’s more than a little suspicious,’ the source says.
‘It’s known that on weekends, the Bachelor gets to take his partner away on secret trips, so why has he chosen to spend this weekend with Sara?’
