Seven
Matt and Luke are the resident nice guys on the 10th anniversary season of My Kitchen Rules.
And while drama rages away between the other contestants, the Newcastle friends have remained pretty unscathed.
However, the spotlight is set to shine on the boys whether they like it or not when they cook for the Open Houses with Pat and Bianca.
Given the pair are so laid-back, it’s no surprise that the boys were pretty keen to keep their noses clean.
“We were happy for other people to steal the limelight,” Matt says.
“It was just really entertaining for us to be a part of it.
“I enjoyed listening the everyone rather than jumping in there and trying to steal it, but-
“I think we just tried to be ourselves and we had each other for the whole time.”
But how does the 27-year-old feel about all the female attention he is receiving thanks to the show?
“I don’t know,” he admits, laughing.
“It’s a whole new territory for me. The whole experience has been whole new territory.
“We’ve had interviews about launch parties and stuff that have all been very much fun but new experience.”
