Lisa Wilkinson was the most shocked after not being nominated for a Gold Logie, sources reveal.
And the TV great blames Karl and Carrie for her not getting one.
‘She really thought after the enormous support she received from women around Australia after she walked out on Today because they refused to pay her the same as Karl, that she’d win the Gold Logie,’ the insider spilled.
‘Added to that her popularity on The Project and how ratings have soared since she started, she can’t help but think that politics from Karl – and maybe even Carrie, who’s been unhappy about Lisa’s new role – has harmed her chances.’ Carrie Bickmore isn’t too happy either.
‘Carrie, meanwhile, just feels that she’s been pushed to the side more than ever with this [Gold] Logie snub. She’s faded into the background since Lisa came to The Project and she blames Lisa for missing out,’ says the source.
Rumours of tension between the pair look set to reach new heights.
