Lisa Wilkinson has slyly admitted she doesn’t watch Karl Stefanovic on the Today Show after sensationally leaving the Channel Nine breakfast program last year.
Tweeting on Nov. 2, The Project host Tweeted, “Congrats to @LaTrioli and @mjrowland68 & whole ABC @BreakfastNews TEAM. Congrats on 10 excellent years & now I can even watch you! @abcnews”
Congratulating the ABC Breakfast News team, Lisa shouted out presenters Virginia Trioli and Michael Rowland on their 10 year anniversary.
Wilkinson’s added “I can even watch you” seemingly suggests she no longer “Wakes Up With Today.”
In November 2018, Wilkinson sensationally quit the Today Show after the Nine Network denied her pay parity with breakfast companion Stefanovic.
At the time, Lisa told news.com.au: “You can see that women have had enough…the gender pay gap, domestic violence, homelessness is on a huge rise in this country, particularly for women over 50.’
The former Today show host added she believes women are beginning to feel “the wind behind them” off the back of power moves, exacting like her own.
