Liam Hemsworth has made a return to social media for the first time since his marriage split from Miley Cyrus was announced.

The Aussie star took to Instagram to promote his new movie Killerman.
“Excited to announce a movie I worked on called Killerman will be released in the USA on August 30th,” the 29-year-old actor wrote.
“I’m incredibly proud of the work everyone did on it. It was an absolute honor to work with my friend Emory Cohen again, one of my favorite actors, Malik Bader, an extremely creative and intelligent director, and the brilliant Ken Seng for his work as Director of Photography.”
The caption was accompanied by a picture of the LA-based star on the set of the movie.
This is the first time The Hunger Games star has posted to Instagram since penning a post confirming his split from Miley after just seven months of marriage.
Liam’s post comes just hours after it was reported that his split from the Wrecking Ball singer was getting increasingly nasty – with sources close to the actor telling US magazine Star that Liam is currently seeing actress Isabel Lucas who is ‘the polar opposite of Miley’ and has a similar personality to Liam.
