Do you think you have what it takes to be a professional couch potato?

If so, you may be in luck as Gogglebox producers have just announced a casting call for the hit reality TV series – which is set to return to our screens for its eleventh season in 2020.

Production company EndemolShine Australia released a call out on MyCastingNet, auditionees should be “witty and warm people who love everything about TV and want to share their views with Australia”.

In order to apply, hopefuls need to be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents from a diverse range of households living in Sydney, Brisbane, The Gold Coast or Melbourne. Potential Goggleboxers will need to fill out an application form with pictures and video of their household to show where they watch TV.

Gogglebox producers held a round of auditions earlier this year, however it appears they failed to find the right candidates, hence the second call out.

“We are continuing to audition for Gogglebox,” Foxtel boss Brian Walsh told TV Tonight in September.

“We were in Queensland [for the first time] looking for new cast but didn’t quite find the right ingredients.”

Last December the show said goodbye to hilarious stars Wayne and Tom and Angie and Yvie.

Of course, Angie and Yvie quickly went on to star in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Angie is currently starring on The Bachelorette.

And the show filled their empty sofas by adding Melbourne siblings Tim and Leanne in February.
