There is a brand new Kmart store opening in Stafford City, replacing the Big W that closed its doors in January.
Opening next Thursday August 29, at 8am, with freebies for the first 650 customers!
A Kmart spokeswoman confirmed to The Courier Mail that the store will have a fresh layout that will be rolled out nationally with wider aisles for prams and wheelchairs and central self-serve checkouts.
Make sure you get there early if you are keen to grab a freebie, the first 250 customers will receive a free gift bag with their purchase.
If you miss out on a free gift bag there are also 400 free cupcakes for shoppers to snack on.
Local radio station Hits FM will also be there with free face painting and balloon giveaways to keep your kids happy too.
NSW rural town Griffith also welcomed a new Kmart store this August bringing the total to 214 across Australia.
