Married At First Sight contestant Jessika Power’s brother, Rhyce, has found himself an instant celebrity off the back of the series airing.
And even though his Instagram fame has skyrocketed – not all of the attention has been positive.
Instead, the carpenter found himself having to defend bloodied and bruised photos of himself that have surfaced.
The snaps, published on the Daily Mail, were taken around a decade ago.
“I got hit with a baseball bat, leaving a party. I got hit in the back of the head and then I got hit in the face and I ended up in hospital,” he explained to the publication.
“It was all just mainly bruising, there was nothing broken or anything.”
The former stripper was hit was behind so didn’t see the assailant. He says he has no idea why he was targeted.
Since his appearance on the Nine reality show Rhyce’s Instagram following has rocketed from 1,371 to over 45,000.
