One cheeky royal fan, took Prince Charles by surprise when she planted a kiss on the royal as he arrived at Ely Farmers’ Market in Cambridgeshire on November 27.

Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall received a warm welcome from the locals, but the Prince certainly got more than he bargained for when a local women leaned in for a smooch.
As Charles approached the lady he said, “You look very well wrapped up,” before she took her chance and gave the royal a peck on the cheek.
It is in fact against royal protocol to initiate touching a royal family member but luckily for this excited fan the prince took it in good humour.
Charles tried a local tipple during their visit to the farmers market.

“You’re very daring,” Charles quipped back to the lady with a laugh.
During their visit, Charles and Camilla visited the farmers market and met with a variety of stall holders including flower farmers, bakers and food entrepreneurs.
What’s more the royal couple also tried some Ely sloe gin, made from cherries at one of the market stalls and Charles appeared to be a fan calling it. “absolutely irresistible.
After their visit to the markets the duke and duchess visited a number of churches in the area.
