The duchess opted to forgo wearing the diamond sparkler that Prince Harry designed himself.
The ring features a large centre diamond from Botswana flanked by two smaller diamonds from his late mother, Princess Diana’s collection.
Meghan also chose to ditch her engagement ring when she attended the 70th anniversary of the Commonwealth at Westminster Abbey.
Now fans are wondering why she chose not to wear the stunning piece of jewellery.
While, we would never take the sparkler off, there may actually be a very practical reason why the duchess was spotted without it.
There is the chance that the ring may need repairs, but, a much more likely reason is… yep, you guessed it: pregnancy fingers!
"Sometimes pregnancy can cause your fingers to swell because of oedema - basically water retention that can make hands and often legs and ankles get a little bit puffy,” birth expert Milli Hill told Express.
"This kind of swelling that comes on gradually is perfectly normal, but any sudden swelling can be a sign of pre-eclampsia, so talk to your midwife if you have any concerns.
"It might be that Meghan’s ring is feeling a little tight but it could simply be because she is having the ring cleaned or another practical reason!"
