Executive Producer Julian Cress told TV Tonight that he expected the properties to be sold for "around the $3m mark."
Julian explained, "The houses that we're doing this year are probably around the three million mark, at best, in the market."
"That used to seem like a lot of money, but it's not anymore in the capital cities for aspirational homes," he added.
Domain's price guide matched his estimate, listing the houses between $2.5 and $2.75 million. Whereas Realestate.com lists Steph and Gian's house as lower, at $2.2m to $2.4m, and Eliza and Liberty's house as higher at $2.7m to $2.85m!
The Block 2023 auction commences on Sunday November 4.
Excitingly for fans, the early stages of planning for The Block 2024 (in what will be the show's 20th season) has already commenced.
The series was originally set in the regional Victorian town of Daylesford where producers had purchased five pavilion-style homes on Raglan Street.
An anonymous Block insider told the Herald Sun at the time, "We’ve had so many successful series in so many different locations, but we don’t go where we are not welcome.”
Channel Nine in November confirmed that the upcoming 2024 season of The Block has been moved to Phillip Island.
