The reporter replied: “How am I going to do that? If I throw that question in, the interview’s over.”
Gavin insisted: “Put it in at the end.”
On the interview day, the question was asked and Anne did not take it well.
She reportedly replied: “He asked you to say that, didn’t he?
“I don’t do things like that, like other members of the family do. And he knows that!”
Anne then left the room in a huff.
The news comes days after it was reported that Anne's father Philip wants her to take over the Royal Marines after Harry moves on.
