Renee Codd, 34, was caught drink driving with her one-year-old son after she had picked him up from daycare, subsequently crashing into a ditch.
According to reports when stopped by police the mother explained she'd had two glasses of wine earlier that day. When police proceeded to breathalyse Ms Codd she blew a whopping 2.94, which is approximately six times the legal blood-alcohol limit.
The court also heard that Ms Codd had been caught drink driving not once before - but twice!
Yahoo 7 reported that the mother had spent the day heavily 'day-drinking' at home, reportedly upset over an argument with her ex-partner.
Following the incident Ms Codd was sentenced to 45 days in jail, which has just been overturned this week.
Ms Codds parents reportedly put up $10,000 to provide their daughter with rehab, 7 News reports.
The barrister appointed to the case, Sharon Kermath, revealed, 'She feels sick everyday and vomits nearly everyday because of what could have happened.'
Ms Codd was handed a one-year community service and her licence has been disqualified for four years/
