The 53-year-old sibling of Meghan has made a number of digs towards her and her husband Prince Harry since their May 2018 Royal Wedding. Samantha has since been put on a "fixated persons" list by police officers who believe she is a "reputation risk towards the Royal Family.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Samantha stated that she believes "paying tribute" to those who helped her out the most "such as her dad" should be Meghan's New Year's resolution.
"Thank him for your college education, your career, building every stage you set foot on, but really appreciate the people that care about you," she continued.
Samantha also pointed out that not many people have someone who cares about them so that she hopes Meghan will reflect and count her blessings and that she pays forward some gratitude to her children.
She also encouraged the duchess to "carry on the family legacy" when speaking of her unborn child.
One final dig at the pregnant royal came when Samantha said she should "eat more chocolate" so that she could "sweeten her disposition" for the new year.
Her latest comments come after sending a Christmas card to Meghan which contained a desperate plea for her to end the rift between her and her "very hurt"dad Thomas, writing "Life is short and you Dad is wonderful."
"Please give him joy in his last years by showing that you love him. The time is NOW"
