Shocking details have emerged about a terrifying road crash which almost killed Married At First Sight star Dan Webb two months before filming for the social experiment began.
The 35-year-old father-of-one was involved in a horrific scooter accident whilst holidaying in Bali in July 2018 which saw him "run off the road", according to Daily Mail Australia.
The reality star was thrown from the moped and found unconscious in a nearby ditch by friends.
A close friend of Dan's who was travelling around the Indonesian island with him when the incident occurred told Daily Mail of the heartbreaking moments paramedics worked to save the young dad's life.
Dan is said to have asked his friend to "tell my son I love him" in the touch and go phase of his rescue.
He sustained serious injuries including a broken shoulder, deep gashes to his head and an infected wound on his foot so severe, doctors almost amputated the limb.

Since his lucky escape, Dan has found love with MAFS meltdown queen Jessika Power.
After coming clean about their adulterous affair which left their respective partners Mick Gould and Tamara Joy in the lurch, the cheating couple were allowed to remain on the experiment to give love a chance.
