His flamboyant tastes and acid tongue have made him a fast favourite on House Rules, and now Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has turned his attention to Meghan Markle, in the wake of her decision to forgo his interior design services at Frogmore Cottage.
We love him on House Rules – maybe Meghan should reconsider!
Speaking to News Ltd over the weekend, the design guru – who has form working for the royals – had some sharp words for Meghan.
'Meghan is far too dull, she'd run screaming from me,' Laurence said, taking a cheeky dig after news that Meghan and Harry’s abode is being renovated by design rival Vicky Charles.
LLB, who has worked on interior redesigns for the Queen and Prince Phillip, is now hoping for another royal commission elsewhere.
'My only hope for a proper, decent royal commission is when we get a Queen Camilla,' he confessed. 'She's just over the garden fence and I'm very much hoping for a royal command.
‘(Meghan’s) got very mainstream taste and obviously, Catherine, who we adore, but she’s all very Marks & Spencers, isn’t she?’
Interior design plans have indicated that Harry and Meghan are opting for a stone, grey and taupe colour scheme – far from the flamboyance often encouraged by LLB.
