Anna has had a huge year. Like Olivia, she balances high school with her role on Home And Away, and her work has been cut out for her during the past few months. Anna's character Coco, has been suffering through bulimia and this sensitive subject has taught the young actress a lot.
'I hope viewers can understand eating disorders are more common than they used to be,' the 16-year-old explains. 'It's a tough topic, but it's important for peopel to know help is out there. No-one has to suffer alone. I hope Coco's issues have helped raise awareness for family and friends to see the warning signs so they can offer love and support to the person in need.'
Facing her own insecurities, Anna shares one piece of advice with fans. 'Do not compare yourself to others,' she says adamantly. 'Everyone has their insecurities. It's about looking past that and focusing on being the best you can be. Learn to love yourself and your body, not in spite of your flaws, but because of them.'
With nearly a year on the show under her belt, Anna says she feels more comfortable. 'I feel there is always pressure in what you do,' she says. 'In the beginning, there may have been some pressure, however, I've now been doing this for nearly a year and with every week, I find myself feeling more comfortable. If I do get nervous, it's normal - it just brings me back down to earth.'
