"Hello 000? I'd like to report a robbery. Courtney Act. Had a mirrorball trophy stolen," one person wrote.
Another incredulous fan tweeted: "HOW THE HELL DID COURTNEY ACT LOSE DANCING WITH THE STARS???"
Others called the result "absurd" and said Australia should be "ashamed".
Courtney, 37, secured the highest score of the 2019 season with partner Joshau Keefe for their second dance in the finale episode.
Mummy blogger Constance Hall and professional dancer Gustavo Viglio took third place.
