After releasing certain sections from her book, Demi went on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to reveal that she warned her ex-husband about the memoir before it was published, also telling the comedian more details about the couple's threesomes.
"He expressed something that was of a fantasy, and it was in my efforts to want to please and be what I thought he wanted," Moore told Ellen, 61, before adding it was clearly a "misguided sense of not wanting to look at the harder questions or at what was really missing [in their relationship]."
Demi has also revealed her mother orchestrated her rape in another bombshell allegation from her new memoir, Inside Out.
Speaking with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, the actress opened up about being raped at 15 years old by a man who paid her alcoholic mother $500 ($740 AUD).
56-year-old Moore wrote of the incident: "It was rape and a devastating betrayal revealed by the man’s cruel question, ‘How does it feel to be whored by your mother for $500?’"
Moore told the veteran television journalist that despite what her attacker said, she does not believe her mother's intention was to pimp her out.
After Sawyer asked Demi if she believed her mother "sold" her, Demi said: “I think in my deep heart, no.
"I don’t think it was a straightforward transaction, but she still did give him the access and put me in harm’s way."
