Tori Johnson's mum flees inquest, calling officer 'a disgrace'
The mother of murdered terror victim Tori Johnson has stormed out of the inquest into the fatal Lindt Cafe siege, labelling a police commander 'an absolute disgrace'.
Late cafe manager Tori's mother Rosie was left deeply distressed after the commander - who cannot be named - described the siege as 'high stakes games'. The officer, who was asked to apologise, conceded he had used insensitive words to describe the horrific events, which ended in Tori being murdered in cold blood by terrorist Man Haron Monis.
The incident, which traumatised Australia in December 2014, also resulted in the death of young mother Katrina Dawson (pictured above on a floral tribute, with Tori), who was accidentally hit by police fire when officers stormed the cafe to rescue remaining hostages in the wake of Tori's murder.
