Sophie Monk has shared a hilarious story while chatting to comedian Tom Gleeson on Hard Chat, revealing she and all potential contestants on Channel 9's The Bachelorette were required to take an STD test before going on the show.
The 37-year-old did not shy away when Gleeson asked the hard questions.
'They all get tested,' Sophie tells. 'I got tested [too].'
'I was sitting there going, 'Oh, holy crap.' Imagine if I had to get out of it because I had herpes or something.'
Monk was quick to say that she was 'all clear,' though.
'Luckily, we're all clear,' she told Gleeson with a laugh.
It's a well known fact that all contestants on The Bachelor and Bachelorette series must undergo tests for STD's and fill out detailed medical forms in order to land their spot on the show.
'It is true we had to have them [STD tests] it's like a background check,' one anonymous ex-contestant told DailyMail.
Sophie could see the funny side of Gleeson's hard questions though, sharing to her Instagram account after the taping: 'Wy did I agree to do this again?' along with some cheeky monkey emojis.
'Hard chat got harder,' she added, presumably referencing the last time she appeared on the show.
