The couple wed in 1995, and announced their separation in 2005. They later reconciled before again parting ways in 2010, the same year that Shane was pictured kissing British actress Liz Hurley.
Simone and Shane share three kids together, Brooke, 20, Summer, 16, and Jackson, 19.
The yoga instructor previously told New Idea that she struggled with trust issues since her divorce.
'I'm obviously not very good with relationships. I've only had two partners in 20 years...maybe I've gone too much with my head and not enough with my heart,' she said.
'It's hard to have a normal relationship when I have been so hurt.'
