Police have seized some ‘items of interest’ in the case of missing mum Karen Ristevski.
Following inquiries, investigators are carrying out an intensive search on farmland northwest of Melbourne, News.com.au reports.
Detective Inspector Stephen Dennis says Monday and Tuesday's search was 'the most significant we've conducted to date'.
'We are confident that we will find out what happened,' he told reporter. 'We will be here for as long as it takes to search the area.'
Residents told the publication police had been in the area two months ago searching an abandoned burnt down restaurant.
The current search is taking place about 1km from where Jill Meagher’s body was found in 2012.
Ristevski, 47, went missing from her Avondale Heights home after an argument with her husband six months ago.
