This will be the first time Kate gets to see one of her children off on their first day of school.
For Prince George's first day the Duchess was pregnant with Prince Louis and suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute form of morning sickness.
Thomas's Battersea is located in the affluent London suburb of Kensington and caters not only to the Royal Family but to England's high society. Earlier last week, the school announced the upcoming curriculum for Prince George, and wowee the royal is in for one busy term!
So what do the little one's of Year 2 expect from their school year? Well, it turns out quite a lot.
The core subjects that the school teaches is math, English, science, history and geography, religious studies, French, computing, art/design technology, music, drama, P.E. and ballet.
According to the school's website, the curriculum reflects the 'increased ability of children'.
“The curriculum presented in Year 2 reflects the increased ability of the children, both academically and socially," writes the Head of Lower School Helen Haslem on their website.
“It sees the completion of the basic skills in literacy and numeracy in Key Stage 1. Individual strengths and talents begin to emerge, which you will undoubtedly begin to see.”
Considering Charlotte will only be starting her first term in Reception, we can assume her schedule won't be as full-on as George's!
