Grinning from ear to ear, the heir to the throne cut the ceremonial ribbon and seemed genuinely delighted to be on Grand Cayman.
The Evening Standard reported a large crowd greeted the royal couple on arrival, with local children handing the Duchess of Cornwall a balloon as a gift for their 14th wedding anniversary which they will celebrate next month.
