Eve Morey starred as Sonya Rebecchi on Neighbours - one of Australia's longest running and most popular TV shows - for almost a decade.
But the actress was still taken by aback when she was nominated for a coveted Gold Logie last month.

"I died at the end of last year - I am not even on the show anymore. So this nomination came completely out of nowhere," the actress told The Sunday Telegraph of her 'Most Popular Personality on Australian TV' nod.
Eve admitted her character's death came as a shock to herself and Neighbours fans, after Sonya's nine and a half year stint on the Network Ten soap.
"To be recognised for Gold, it's crazy.
"I didn't think people even watched the show!" she joked.
Prior to her long running role on Neighbours, Eve appeared on Australian TV hits All Saints and Home and Away, Daily Mail Australia reports.
Eve is up against Dancing With the Stars' Amanda Keller, Gardening Australia's Costa Georgiadis, Doctor Doctor's Rodger Corser, Sunrise's Sam Mac, the Hard Quiz's Tom Gleeson and Waleed Aly of The Project.
The Gold Logies kick off on June 30 at The Star Gold Coast in Queensland.
