My Kitchen Rules judges Manu Feildel and Pete Evans have spoken for the first time since news broke they had been forced to kick a team off this season of the hit cooking show.
Speaking directly to camera, the judges explain they've never dealt with anything like this in the competition thus far.
'We would like to take a moment to talk about the events that led to one team being removed from My Kitchen Rules,' Manu began.
'After continued warnings and an unprecedented attack on other teams, we had to act.'
'Over the history of the show, we've never had to deal with anything like this, the removal of a team from the competition,' Pete added.
Footage of teams Jess and Emma, Josh and Nic and Sonya and Hadil getting into heated arguments is shown.
The video cuts back to the sombre looking judges, who explain they had no choice than to kick out one team.
The My Kitchen Rules scandal begins Sunday night at 7pm.
