Meghan Markle suffers ‘wardrobe malfunction’ at friend's wedding
Meghan Markle celebrated her 37th birthday on Saturday – but instead of throwing a party in her honour, she was a guest at the wedding of one of Prince Harry’s oldest friends.
Attending the wedding of Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks in Frensham, southwest of London, the Duke and Duchess couldn’t help but steal the show.
However Meghan, who chose a $700 dark navy Club Monaco dress (which has since sold out) for the occasion, accidentally flashed her bra when her top button became undone, as she waved to well-wishers singing her Happy Birthday.
While stuffy royal-watchers were quick to pounce on the Duchess’ apparent faux pas calling it a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ we say leave the poor girl alone – it’s her birthday! And plus a hint of black lacy bra is chic - better than a frumpy beige one at least!
Meghan accessorised her look with a Philip Treacy hat, Aquazzura pumps, a black belt and Kayu clutch.
Harry served as best man in the wedding, having been friends with van Straubenzee since they were children, both attending the Ludgrove Prep School in Berkshire.
Charlie and his older brother, Thomas van Straubenzee, also reportedly served as ushers at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May.
