Now, Life & Style magazine report that Meghan and Harry want to take someone with them to Frogmore Cottage to help them with their baby, and that someone is Kate Middleton and Prince William's super nanny Maria Borrallo.
A source told the publication: "Doria [Meghan's mum] will help Harry and Meghan look after their baby for the first couple of months, they're planning to hire a full-time nanny."
A royal source told the publication that Meghan has been 'eyeing up' Kate and Will's nanny, Maria Borrallo: "Meghan's determined to hire the best money can buy and has seen with her own eyes how perfectly behaved and well mannered Kate's kids are thanks to Maria's expertise.
"So she went behind Kate's back and offered twice her current salary to work for her in Windsor instead."
Spaniard Maria has earnt quite the name for herself as the no-nonsense nanny who is an indispensable employee of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and has become loyal to Kate and William over the years looking after their three children Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3 and Prince Louis 9 months.
According to Life & Style when Meghan offered Borrallo the job as her and Harry's nanny, Maria informed Kate immediately, the royal source told the publication: "She [Maria] went straight to Kate to inform her about what was going on. Kate hit the roof!"
According to the publication, Meghan's attempt at poaching Kate's nanny did nothing to help the royal women's relationship, with a source telling Life & Style: "Kate confronted Meghan. She warned her to stay away from her staff and find her own employees.
"The way Kate sees it stealing the spotlight is one thing but stealing the children's caretaker is below the belt."
According to the publication the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge's relationship might be damaged beyond repair, the royal source added: "This was the final nail in the coffin of their friendship."
