Rather than opting for lavish gifts, Prince Harry's fiancee reportedly chose a more personal and fun approach. The most notable item is what she got her future brother-in-law, Prince William.
An insider told the Daily Star that Meghan had gifted Prince William a traditional Scottish bonnet that came complete with fake red hair on its sides! The UK media has presented the gift as a gentle joke about William's receding hairline.
Proving the Duke of Cambridge has a funny bone, the insider said: 'It was very funny – he saw the funny side too thankfully!'
As for the Queen, the royal bride-to-be is said to have given Her Majesty a hilarious singing hamster toy, which her corgis have taken a particular liking to.
The insider added: 'It was so funny, especially when the corgis tried to take hold of the toy. She laughed and said ‘they can keep my dogs company!''
Prince Harry also reportedly praised his fiancee over her first curtsey to the monarch when Meghan and Prince Harry joined the rest of the royal family for Christmas mass at Sandringham.
