The full-length cape blue dress is by label SAFiYAA, was designed by by German-born, London-based designer Daniela Karmuts.
The Duchess of Sussex was glowing next to her husband, Prince Harry, and was pictured gently cradling her growing baby bump.
"This was the royal tour fashion moment I was waiting for," Australian fashion expert Donny Galella told New Idea.
"Meghan looked absolutely sublime in this Safiyaa Official gown.
"The blue colour paying homage to the Fijian flag."
The state dinner was held at the Grand Pacific Hotel where the royal couple are staying during their Fiji visit.
The hotel is a royal favourite, with The Queen who has stayed there five times; in 1963, 1970, 1973, 1977 and 1982.
Prince Charles has also visited, staying in 1970, 1985 and 2005.
