“Such an incredible day celebrating #babylove,” he captioned the photo.
Gayle King revealed that the 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex opted not to open the gifts for the royal baby during the shower.
When King was asked what she brought as a present, she told CBS This Morning, “If I told you, I’d have to kill you because she didn’t open any of the gifts because she wants to do that when she and Harry are back together.”
King also revealed that the guests were taught how to put together flower arrangements which were then then donated to Repeat Roses, an organisation which recycles flowers from events and uses them to cheer up cancer treatment centres.
“I thought that was a very sweet thing,” King explained. “It just speaks to who [Meghan] is. She’s very kind, she’s very generous and a really, really sweet person.”
“It was a very, very small, private affair and just a very special time for her,” King said.
Meanwhile Meghan’s sister-in-law Kate was a no show, instead opting to go on a skiing trip with husband Prince William and their three children - George, Charlotte and Louis.
It is believed the former Suits actress will have a baby shower in the UK soon.
