After receiving an abundance of hate from trolls online, the singer edited the caption to lash out at those who criticised her decision to post a photo of her young son which exposed his penis.
"There’s something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there. Going off about my baby’s penis?", Pink captioned the post, "I deleted it because you’re all f*****g disgusting."
Pink continued: "And now I’m turning off my comments and shaking my head at the state of social media and keyboard warriors, And the negativity that you bring to other people’s lives."
Discussing the issue on Tuesday night, Wilkinson suggested that Pink should have known better.
"I love Pink but she is a grown-up. Is it naive to think putting her son's penis on Instagram isn't going to get a big backlash?," the 59-year-old said on Channel Ten's The Project.
Co-host Fifi Box, on the other hand, expressed regret that the negative comments would mean Pink would no longer share photos of her children.
"I'm so disappointed she doesn't get to share it (her children) because of the hate. I love what she shares of her family as my daughters are my proudest achievement too."
