The brothers have expanded their Byron Bay property holdings, splashing out $4.25m on a near but non-beachfront purchase on the NSW coast.
The new property is a short distance from the $20 million mansion Chris and Elsa recently finished on their Byron hinterland block.
Adding fuel to the fire that he's moving closer to his brother, Liam was in Byron in September when the sale of the property known as Cactus Cottage was signed off, just three weeks after his public split with Miley.
While only Chris is listed as a director, the company name CHLH Management suggests a link to Liam, if only through his initials.
The new company was set up by lawyer James Groom of Groom Kennedy in Sandy Bay, Hobart, the day before the purchase, Daily Telegraph reports.
Since his split with Miley, Liam has been busy getting his love life in order, and has been seen several times with Maddison Brown as rumours swirl that he has moved on from the 'Wrecking Ball' singer with the Dynasty actress.
In early October, Liam was pictured holding hands and looking smitten with fellow Australian Maddison in New York City.
TMZ captured the Australian hunk on a date with the blonde up-and-coming star, taking her on a romantic stroll and for dinner in NYC's West Village neighbourhood.
"It didn't look like a first date," an insider shared with E! at the time.
"They held hands and walked very close to each other. Liam led her around and she had a big smile on her face. They were having fun together and seemed very close."
Meanwhile, Liam's ex-wife continues to play out her romances on her social media.
After splitting with Liam, Miley was briefly connected to Kaitlynn Carter.
She has since moved on with Cody Simpson, who she has been dating for number of weeks.
