Lego Masters is the new show that Australia can’t get enough of.
We have all watched in awe as the contestants have worked their way through challenges that are up to 18 hours long, wondering how they can do it.
But now, grandma and grandson duo, Matt and Lynn have revealed that what you see on the show isn’t exactly what goes on behind the scenes.
Meet Matt and Lynn in the video below...
“In reality it wasn’t all done in one day,” Lynn dishes to New Idea.
“There were film breaks,” adds Matt. “But that didn’t make it any less stressful.”
While, the challenges were split over multiple days of filming, Lynn reveals that they still spent long hours on the set.
“12- 17-hour days were quite normal,” she says. “I thought I did pretty well to keep up with the youngsters.”
Matt and Lynn says that the filming days are really long.

“You do get really tired,” Matt adds. “But you’ve got to keep going.”
While, they might have had to stop in the middle of a challenge, Lynn reveals that the challenge didn’t really end there.
“You go home and your mind is in creative mode and you’re thinking, oh what can we do here and there, so that part of it never stops,” she says.
Despite the long hours, Matt and Lynn admit that they never butt heads.
“We got along great and that’s why I asked her on there,” says Matt. “I love Mema’s sense of humour and I thought we would get along great and we did.”
Lego Masters airs Sunday 7 pm and Monday-Tuesday 7:30 pm on Nine.
