You better check your kitchen cupboards because Kmart has just issued an urgent recall on an everyday item we all use.
Yep, the retail giant is urging it’s customers to check whether they have their ice tea and coffee brewer as the company has concerns that the product is faulty.
It found that the handle of the product can separate when hot water is poured into it and this could result in spills and burns.
"At Kmart, we take the quality and safety of our products very seriously, which is why we are issuing a voluntary recall of the Ice Tea & Coffee Brewer," Kmart revealed on Facebook on Thursday morning.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the glass and handle can separatee if using boiling water.
Kmart is suggesting that customers stop using the product immediately and return it to any Kmart store in the country for a full refund.
The product was on sale between December 31 2018 and February 28 2018.
