Love eating dim sims, but think they’re a little too fiddly to make?
Well one clever home cook over at the Kmart Pie Maker Recipes, Tips and Ideas Australia Facebook group has come up with the ingenious idea of whipping them up the $29 budget appliance.
Kmart Pie Makers follower Peter shared his amazing recipe for Pork & Prawn Dim Sims with the awesome group, describing the end result as ‘yummy’. Using wonton wrappers from any supermarket, Peter simply just whips up his mixture - a combination of pork mince, chopped frozen prawns, ginger, garlic and various sauces - and places it inside. After sealing the dim sims up, he simply pops them in the pie maker to cook away. Genius!
The recipe - listed below - received a round of applause from other Kmart Pie Maker followers, who are keen to give the ingenious hack a whirl.
