The KitKat Team has unveiled two new decadent dark chocolate flavours, with the KitKat Dark Tasmanian Mint and KitKat Dark Southern Australian Orange.
The new blocks were created using distinct ingredients from two Australian regions famed for their local produce, and they blend unique local flavours with delicious dark chocolate.

The two new flavours feature the classic KitKat crisp wafer fingers topped with swirls of rich dark chocolate.
The KitKat Dark Tasmanian Mint flavour boasts a refreshing mint choc using oil from the mint plant, grown in the state of Tasmania.
Whereas the KitKat Dark Southern Australian Orange features orange choc using oil from blood oranges grown in the South Australian Riverland and Sunraysia region.

“Dark chocolate is synonymous with moments of everyday indulgence, and as Aussies increasingly spend more time at home, we’re seeing that they want to elevate their evenings with moments of decadence," said Joyce Tan, Nestlé's Head of Marketing Confectionery.
Joyce adds that the new flavours aim to take "KitKat and dark chocolate lovers on a journey of discovery", and to also explore the provenance of Tasmania and Southern Australia with these new flavour pairings.
“Using quality ingredients from our own backyard, the new flavours add intrigue to our well-loved dark chocolate range as an indulgent and stimulating chocolate treat," Joyce said.
The new dark chocolate range is available from all major supermarkets.
KitKat Dark Tasmanian Mint and KitKat Dark Southern Australian Orange are now available in 170g blocks from all major supermarkets for $5.
It comes off the back of the all-new KitKat ice cream sticks, where Nestlé partnered with Peters to launch the new frozen spin on the classic KitKat chocolate bars.
