"Um, isn’t she a little YOUNG to have dark lipstick on? And tons of it?? Gimme a break already," tweeted one.
"Why does she have makeup on?" asked another. "This is desperate," still another. And finally this ... "I don't remember dancing like a hooch in the bible but what do I know I'm only a PhD in theology." Ouch!
Still, not everybody felt that North's slick dance moves and camera-ready face were a problem. Plenty of fans enjoyed the clips calling North a star in the making.
And they applauded Kim and Kanye too for attending a service with their family in the first place. Some also pointed out that North is just a kid and should be allowed to enjoy herself in whatever way she and her parents deem suitable.
On that, we'd have to agree. What a little girl wears and how she moves is entirely up to her and those who care for her, whoever they may be. Kim and Kanye may not be the parenting role models you want to emulate, but they are parents nonetheless and should be allowed to raise their kids however they like without copping this kind of criticism.
It's a little lipstick - no more, no mess.
And as such, can be removed in seconds. If it gives a young child joy then who are we to deny her that.
