Despite the fact the troubled TV star is set to head back to work in the next few weeks to commence filming the second season of Nine’s This Time Next Year, media analyst Steve Allan has warned the 44 year old may struggle finding work following his sacking from today.
'Who knows what will happen with Karl. The path to reviving his career could be very difficult,’ Allan told The Herald Sun.
'In some respects Karl was left wallowing in a mess he created, even if it was unwittingly.'
Meanwhile, Steve claims that Karl's former Today show co-host Georgie Gardner could also be set for a troubling 2019, now that she's at the helm of the show.
'Breakfast television can make or destroy careers,' he said.
