Demi Lovato has one. Miley Cyrus too. Even Emma Watson has one although word is hers might not be permanent.
We're talking, of course, about an inspirational tattoo - that is, ink that provides an emotional boost or shares a belief of some kind.
And it's not just celebrities who are getting on board with this latest tattoo trend.

Pinterest researchers have found that more folk than ever before are searching for inspirational tattoos to express self-love and also declare what is deeply meaningful to them.
Tattoos were within the top 20 search terms in 2016, 2017, and 2018 on Pinterest. And 2019 shows no signs of the trend slowing down.
All up, there has been more than a billion searches for tattoos on Pinterest and there are billions of saved tattoo designs and ideas. And despite the fact that 2019 is barely under way, a micro-trend has definitely emerged - that of the inspirational quote.

She loves mascara (but not the clumpy kind) and has spent much of her life hunting down the perfect red lipstick. She's found it by the way! Kelly loves black eyeliner but is yet to master the cat eye. She has hope though - one day she will crack it.
