Speaking to New Idea exclusively, House Rules' Kate has opened up about being bullied based on the shape of her body.
The gorgeous mum-of-one’s naturally slender physique may be the envy of many Aussie women, but the 28-year-old reveals she’s no stranger to body-shaming remarks. ‘I cop a lot for being slim,’ she reveals to New Idea.
‘I get lots of comments about my body from strangers. I get called too skinny and gaunt.’
Upset by the comments, Adelaide-based Kate says she works ‘bloody hard’ to stay fit as a young mum to two-year-old Xavier. ‘Since having Xav, I’m probably fitter than I was before,’ she shares.

Still, Kate manages to ignore the haters and keeps to a strict gym regime.
Carpenter and aspiring builder Harry, 32, says his job keeps him fit, but confesses Kate can run rings around him.
‘She loves walking and going to the gym,’ he says.
‘I mean, look at her! She looks so fit, she’s like a supermodel!’
