And it’s safe to say that Brody (Jackson Heywood) will be left not only shocked by Ziggy’s latest move, but feeling even more guilt-ridden.
For Brody is rendered speechless when Ziggy announces she has sold the vouchers they were keeping for their honeymoon and placed the funds into a savings account for a house deposit.
“Ziggy’s definitely aware something is not right between her and Brody, although she’s still not sure exactly what it is,” says Sophie.
“She’s really trying hard at this point to bring back some sort of security and connection between them. She’s doing everything she can to give Brody what she thinks he wants, because she doesn’t want to lose him.”
Yet the young mechanic may well notice that Brody doesn’t appear as thrilled by the news as she assumed he would be.
“Ziggy has reason to be surprised by this, because she always thought that buying a house together was what Brody wanted,” says Sophie.
“She was sure it’d reconnect them and put them back on a path forward. Now she could be left feeling really confused and hurt.”
Meanwhile, Simone’s heart breaks when she overhears Maggie (Kestie Morassi) congratulating Ziggy and Brody on their house plans. So much so that Simone makes a shock decision of her own!
