We’re used to hearing his dulcet tones on the drive home, but we could soon be listening to Hamish Blake while we meditate.
The radio and TV personality has teamed up with Sam Wood to guide some mindfulness exercises in the former-bachelor’s online training program.
Going by “Zensai Blake”, the comedian will be coaching "28ers" through relaxation techniques to destress and improve sleep.
“Of course I have no ‘official’ mindfulness training but I love what Sam and his team do as being able to smile and switch off is so important. It’s great to show people that meditation can be effective in a fun and simple way,” Hamish told myBody+Soul.
He’ll also be joined by some experts, like psychotherapist Timothea Goddard and yoga practitioner Annemaree Rowley.
Sam, who is expecting his first child with fiancée Snezana Markoski in October, says mindfulness is an important part of healthy living.
“Zensai Blake, as he’s affectionately known, takes a light-hearted approach by narrating some professionally written mindfulness articles with a humorous Hamish twist," he told myBody+Soul.
