WATCH: Jessica Mauboy breaks down in emotional music video for "Little Things"
After her emotional performance during the Channel Seven talent show, host Ricki-Lee asked Mauboy about the inspiration behind her new song.
"This song means so much to me first of all, and this song really comes fro mym family so I wanted to write something that was so authentic and personal and I've never really done that before with any of my music, so I guess really this is about growth for me at this stage.
"With this song, the reaction has been so unbelievable. every moment that I sing it I feel that everyone's connecting to it in their own way. I just want to thank you all for your love and support on this song," Jessica told the crowd.
The song marks the second teaser from her upcoming fourth studio album titled Hilda, which is available from October 18th.
But her performance during the show wasn't the only excpectional thing Mauboy did as a guest judge.
After fan-favourite singer 15-year-old Olina Loau sang Beyonce's "Listen", Mauboy awarded her the Golden Buzzer (again!).
"Honestly bub you are so epic. You're poise, like grace on stage... your infusion of your life story so far was absolutely incredible. You had me in tears. Having such control in something and power in your story is everything and you absolutely owned that bubba. Love you. You know what this is an absolute honour for me to do this but I just... WOW!" Jessica exclaimed, before giving Olina her second Golden Buzzer.
