The former top beauty appeared gaunt, with apparent abrasions on her face, and guarded her smile as she claimed it was not hard to live as a woman in such scary surroundings. Picking at her filthy nails, she seemed to struggle to maintain eye contact - her sparkling confidence now a thing of the past.
‘It’s not as difficult as you might think, everybody’s really respectful,’ she said.
‘Everybody’s good to each other, which I don’t think you find much.

With the squalid tunnels a far cry from the glitzy casinos that line theLas Vegasstrip, Stephanie claimed that ‘people are more accepting’ in the tunnels than they are topside.
When asked if she thought she could ever get out of the tunnels, the former star replied, ‘Um, yes, but why?’
‘I like that hardships build camaraderie,’ she said of her living conditions. ‘I feel like you make more genuine friends.’
How very sad! Let's hope she can get out of her heartbreaking situation and find a new future.
