Disney alligator horror: Little boy was only in ankle deep water
New details have emerged surrounding the tragic death of a toddler at Disney World resort.
An incident analysis reveals the last moments of two-year-old Lane Grave’s life before an alligator attacked him on June 14, Radar Online reports.
‘Two-year-old Lane Graves was building sand castles,’ reads the report. ‘He was using a bucket to get water from the Seven Seas Lagoon and pouring it on the sand.’
According to the analysis Graves ‘was in the water not more than ankle deep’. His dad, Matt Graves, ‘was with him a few feet away.’
As Lane bent down to fill his buck with water, ‘an alligator seized Lane by the head and neck, one tooth puncturing the top of his skull, and one puncturing the center of the neck.’
‘The alligator began dragging Lane into deeper water.’
Grave’s dad tried to save his son. ‘He put his hands into the alligator’s mouth and tried to pull it open.’
‘The alligator thrashed and broke Matt’s grasp and went under the water. The alligator released Lane, who remained submerged near the attack location.’
