Since being dubbed 'godmother', the 71-year-old has confirmed that she will attend the naming ceremony, on July 5, which will take place in the South of England on the coastal town of Dover, Kent.
Lance Batchelor, Saga Group chief executive in Britain released a statement, stating the company are 'delighted' with their choice of British royal: "I am delighted that The Duchess of Cornwall has agreed to be godmother of the Spirit of Discovery. The launch of our new ship is a key moment in both the history and future of Saga."
Believe it or not, this is not the first time Camilla has been named godmother of a cruise ship!
Back in 2007, the Duchess of Cornwall named Cunard's Queen Victoria.
Camilla also isn't the only member of the royal family to have christened a cruise ship!
It seems every lady in Buckingham Palace is bustling for the honour as Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana and Kate Middleton have all named cruise ships in the past.
Unfortunately for the gentlemen of the Windsor family, neither Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Charles or Prince Philip has been given the honour.
Congratulations Camilla!
